It's about time! The little Hoh Tribe and its members, in Washington State, have endured unbelievable hardship due to the river's migration, with flooding of their homes and government buildings accompanied by infusion of raw sewage resulting from overflowing septic systems. Six years ago, as director of Indian Affairs in Washington, we desperately plead for federal and state emergency intervention to no avail. So, this is a long-overdue victory for the Tribe. One can only hope that Congress doesn't further delay.
